DICE, or Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment, is a Swedish video game development company based on Stockholm. Founded in 1992, it became a subsidiary of Electronics Arts in 2004 and from then on was also commonly known as EA DICE. It is the developer of the Battlefield series of video games, which began with Battlefield 1942 released in 2002. It is also known for Mirror's Edge and Star Wars Battlefront. It is currently working on Battlefield 1.
